Omozeghian⁩ steadfast leadership, characterised by vision, integrity, and unwavering dedication, has propelled our association to new heights, inspiring alumni worldwide to join hands in pursuit of a shared purpose.

Ambrose Ali University (AAU) Alumni Association, Lagos State Chapter, has appointed Mr. Clifford Omozeghian as its worldwide president.

Mr. Sebaston Nwokoro, Chairman of the association’s reconciliation committee, in a remark during the event held in Tedi Town, Ojo, Lagos, described the appointment as a “well-deserved” honour.

According to him, the committee’s findings guided the congregation through a journey of reflection and consensus-building, which laid the foundation for a transformative resolution.

“This resolution, a testament to our collective commitment to excellence and unity, bestows formal recognition upon Mr. Clifford Omozeghian as the Worldwide President of the AAU Alumni Association.

“Omozeghian⁩ steadfast leadership, characterised by vision, integrity, and unwavering dedication, has propelled our association to new heights, inspiring alumni worldwide to join hands in pursuit of a shared purpose.

“As we embark on this new chapter under the stewardship of President Omozeghian, we reaffirm our pledge of allegiance to the principles and values that define us as an association.

“Through collaboration, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to service, we will continue to uphold the legacy of our alma mater and nurture a vibrant community of alumni united in purpose,” he added.

Responding to the development, Omozeghian, in his acceptance speech, appreciated the chapter for the honour bestowed on him.

He described it as ‘a call to do more’. and promised to uphold the tenets of the alumni.

“We extend a heartfelt invitation to potential members who have graced the halls of AAU and now reside in Lagos State,” he said.

The newly appointed worldwide president, however, solicited members’ cooperation and urged the professional community of the alumni in the diaspora to think about ways to develop the country.

“Your participation in our monthly gatherings is not only welcomed but cherished as a testament to the enduring bonds that transcend time and distance.

“Together, let us forge ahead with renewed vigour and determination as we write the next chapter of our illustrious journey as proud alumni of the AAU Lagos State Chapter,” Omozeghian said.
